Good evening DWK Members!
I hope you all had a great weekend and Presidents Day! We are reaching out because we need your help.
Purpose:
Democratic Women of Kern needs you to reach out to your District Supervisor and make your voice heard about our elections! The Board of Supervisors is currently hearing public comments from voters for suggestions regarding our elections division. Let’s take action to protect our local voices and our right to a fair election! We cannot allow those who deny the validity of our votes to take control of our voting system in Kern County. We must take a stand to ensure that our votes are respected and our voices are heard.
Action Requested:
Join DWK in attending the next Board of Supervisors meeting on February 28, 2023 at 9:00 AM and make a public statement
Location: Kern County Administrative Center, First Floor Board Chambers
1115 Truxtun Avenue
Bakersfield, CA.
If you cannot make the in person meeting, please write to your District Supervisor via email or letter urging them to avoid these missteps and ensure training of current staff, focus on voter counting- not bogus conspiracies and make your voices heard.
